Sr. Professor Todd S. Monis, 8th Dan, is the Founder of the Renigar Method of Kenpo / Ju Jitsu. He has over 30 years of experience in the Martial Arts. Having started his training at the age of 8 years old he has a 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Hakkoryu Ju Jitsu, a 5th Degree Black Belt in Karazenpo-Go-Shinjutsu, and an 8th Degree Black Belt in Shaolin / Chinese Kempo.

Professor Monis was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame for the year 2003. Professor is a Senior Rank Examiner, as well as a member of the North American Master's Council. He has also been a Black Belt Judge for Rick Lee in Spartanburg, SC at the Great Southeast Championships - SCSKA Tournament, as well as a Black Belt Judge for Master Joe Corley in the Battle of Atlanta (Atlanta, GA).

In December of 2003, Professor Monis began a friendship with Grandmaster Al Cunningham of N.E.K.I.C.K. in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Under the encouragement and guidance of Grandmaster Cunningham, Professor Monis created his own system of Kenpo called Renigar Kenpo / Ju Jitsu. After submitting it to be reviewed by the North American Grandmasters Council, Professor's new system was approved for Sokeship.

Professor Monis's method of Kenpo / Ju Jitsu is a style that combines the elements of Karazenpo, Shaolin Kenpo, Hakkoryu Ju Jitsu, Filipino Martial Arts, and Combat Cane techniques to form a pragmatic combination of self defense techniques for a more modern way of reality-based self protection.
